Their are three types of hockey that anyone can play e.g. ice hockey, field hockey and grass hockey.

Hockey Facts

Hockey is a family of sports in which two teams play against each other by trying to maneuver a ball or a puck into the opponent's goal using a hockey stick. The two main types are ice hockey and field hockey and is mostly referred to simply as hockey. See the fact file below for more information.

How many players out into the ice?

Six players ( Goaltender, center, right winger, left winger and two defense men)

How many periods are their in a game?

Each period is 20 minutes long.
